A private golf course in beautiful rolling country in the hinterland of the Gold Coast. The Grand was the venue for the 2001 Australian Open, and is sculpted to place great emphasis on the finesse and variety of chipping. With half the course in an undulating forest, the site is ideal for the MacKenzie style of bunkering.
A pleasing feature of the course is that there are 3 or 4 ‘reachable’ par 4’s. One of these, the 10th, is a very spectacular hole which proved very demanding during the Open.
Ranked 42 in Australia by Australian Golf Digest Magazine, 2010
