The Glades Golf Course

Back to the portfolio page

The original site was a flat paddock of kikuyu in the flood plain of the Nerang River near Queensland’s Gold Coast. Design contours were drawn over every square metre of the site to produce the final surface of the course - which is 2 metres below the original natural surface on average. This allowed the residential areas to be constructed above the flood and maintain the flood requirements of the site.

The shapes you see today and all of the landscape were totally manufactured.
